Google and Sparkasse have released “Mila’s Depot”, a generative AI commercial produced by 27KM and directed by KRONCK. The film won Google’s Veo 3 Challenge and premiered at the YouTube Festival in Berlin.
The spot tells the story of Mila and her colourful vision of the future. At its core is a simple idea: a small investment in a Sparkassen Depot, opened by her parents, becomes the starting point for big opportunities later in life. The narrative unfolds through imaginative, high-concept scenes that would have been significantly more complex and costly to realise with traditional film production.
27KM, one of the early adopters of AI in commercial filmmaking, describes the project as a close collaboration between human creativity and generative AI technology. The production combined directing expertise, creative development and AI-driven video generation using Google Veo 3.
