Hybrid AI Workflow for Lidl Super Bowl Spot.At the beginning of the year, Acht AI Labs and Hyperbowl had the opportunity to partner with Lidl as a creative lead on their Super Bowl campaign. The production followed a hybrid approach, combining AI-generated backgrounds in virtual production with AI-enhanced VFX applied in post.
According to it's makers, AI proved especially helpful in creating wild transitions and expansive wide shots, adding a bold visual layer to the film. The workflow not only enabled a distinctive aesthetic but also significantly accelerated the process, allowing to meet the tight delivery schedule without compromising quality.
Many of the elements included in the film would have probably also not only busted the timeframe, but I also the budget, which shows, where future of production might be going.
